Ingredients

Black bean sauce block (find it at H-Mart)
Ramen spice packet

1/2 onion
1 cup water
Ramen noodles
Dduk (ricecakes)
Soft-boiled egg
Scallions
Pickled radish (optional)

  1. On a cutting board, chop the onion into small pieces

  2. Drizzle some oil into a heated pan, add the onion, and stir-fry them

  3. Add 1 cup of water to the pan with the black bean sauce block

  4. Stir the block until it's dissolved into the water

  5. In a pot, boil and drain the ramen noodles, and set them aside

  6. Add dduk (ricecake) to the heated pan with a sprinkle of the ramen noodle packet

  7. Lastly, add the cooked ramen noodles to the pan and stir everything together with a spatula

  8. Top it off with a soft-boiled egg, some scallions, and pickled radish (optional)
